You can't be a computer magician without these tricks!

Once upon a time, on Halloween's past, people sang a song, recited a poem, or performed a trick in order to receive a treat. Now kids dress up and take a walk around the neighborhood/s to get the most treats. Tricks are rare unless it is an ingenious neighbor with the best spooky house on the street. Creek, howl... BOO! Well, let's not relegate tricks to being only for magicians and pranksters. We too can learn a trick or two and hone our skills on our computers. Here are some nifty computer tricks that can enhance your productivity and efficiency. Abracadabra... Windows Shortcuts Windows Key Shortcuts: Win + D: Minimize or restore all windows Win + L: Lock your computer Win + E: Open File Explorer Win + Tab: Open Task View Taskbar Tricks: Shift + Click on a taskbar item: Open a new instance Win + number (1-9): Open the corresponding pinned taskbar item Snapping Windows: Win + Left/Right arrow: Snap the current window to the left or right side of the screen Win + Up/Down arrow: Maximize or minimize the window Mac Shortcuts Finder Shortcuts: Command + N: Opens a new Finder window Command + Shift + N: Create a new folder App Exposé and Spaces: F3 (or Control + Up arrow): View all open windows for the current app Control + Left/Right arrow: Navigate between Spaces General Tricks for Both Multiple Desktops: Create multiple desktops to organize your work.
